cost comparing

hands down there is nothing that comes close to concrete for the money. the creativity with concrete is endless, all the others are so limited i.e. granite, marble, etc.. why waste your good money on something that is so over done and repetitive. check us out, drop us a line or email. we'll take the time to listen to your needs.

thank you,

quick tip

maintaining your concrete counter top is light and minimal. first start with a good cleaning, a warm wash cloth (soap if needed) should be enough. (don't use any chemicals that may contain acidic ingredients or anything else that may etch the concrete) then dry the counter top with a sham or other soft cloth material. once the counter top is dry you may apply a coat of wax and buff. this will fill in any light scratches, add a additional layer of protection and revitalize your counter tops look.

polished or matte?

in case you didn't know your concrete counter top can have a matte or polished finished.

a matte finish is the way it comes out of the mold. it's a raw and solid color look, depending on the look you're going for this might work best. it's still a nice finish but it all depends on the style you're wanting. you can have a one section matte and have it fade into a polished effect. it's one of many options of concrete counter tops that you may not know.

a polished finish exposes the rocks and sand in the concrete. by polishing your concrete you can also expose artistic inlays in the concrete. it gives it a smooth glass like effect found in granite and marble. you can add colored aggregates and other objects that my compliment the area. it gives you a little more freedom to express your self.

the effect and look you choose all depends on you and your style. there is no right or wrong because you are the artist, and the concrete mold is your canvas.  so dream it and "let's build something together"

concrete featured in Oklahoma mag.

concrete countertops are beginning to catch on more and more here in the tulsa area. a recent article in the Oklahoma magazine showcases two homes with concrete countertops. not only are they sleek and modern but they are extremely unique. concrete counters are tailored to your needs and functionality. these are just a few appealing qualities that make concrete so unique.
things that i see in this kitchen:
  • under mount sinks allows the owner to wipe things into the sink easily.
  • the counter has mass appeal in the kitchen.
  • the color fits well into its surroundings.
  • it gives the kitchen a unique warm feeling.
  • it flows with the style of the home.

2 1/2" counters with under mount kitchen sinks and are a light khaki color.

products

i got a question about what products we use in our countertops. if you have the same question's about what we use in our countertops check out concreteexchange.com. you can also check some of the pictures on their website, to see what is possible with concrete.

this was a pre-cast lighting project we did at the tulsa historical society. there are 37 light's through out this landscape project.

concrete green?

another reason why concrete is so good for you and the environment is it's green. concrete is green because it's made with materials found in nature. taking rocks, sand and lime mixing it all together gives you something natural and beautiful. concrete countertops cut down clutter with custom recesses for soap dispensers, brushes, trivets and integral drain board. another great way they help the environment is that 85% of the materials used to build concrete countertops are reusable every time.

my background

i've been in the commercial concrete industry for 8 years now. 3 years ago my passion for concrete turned more towards the creative side of concrete. being a artistic and creative person i was drawn to the creativity and challenge. we make the molds according to each project and pour either in shop or on site. having free reign to play around with different ideas is the best part of this job.

all it takes is just a little imagination to get there. from sketch's on a piece of paper to playing around with some different ideas is all it takes to create something unique. our motto is "lets create something together"
